Safe Haven Accommodation

What we do

We have been successfully operating the service for over 10 years and have grown significantly to be proudly supporting young people across the country on their journey to becoming an independent adult.

In line with the pending OFSTED regulations due to commence in April 2024 we have Registered two services and will be registering a third in January 2024 which will see our Supported Accommodation Service split in to three regions, North, Midlands and South

Developing Independent Skills

The S.A.F.E model uses a bespoke 12-step model called Steps to Achieving Future Excellence (S.A.F.E) to support the development of independence in the young people we support. The comprehensive S.A.F.E model breaks down the transition to independent living into 12 manageable steps across all relevant areas as shown below.

Young people are empowered to work through the steps at their own pace with ongoing guidance and support from Safe Haven staff. The S.A.F.E goal is to ensure young people gain the full range of skills, knowledge, attributes, and experience needed to feel truly safe, able and confident to live independently and thrive as adults.

The S.A.F.E. model clearly defines the knowledge, skills, attributes, and tasks needed to develop independence across 12 steps. Utilizing keywork sessions, videos, life skills materials and hands-on support, S.A.F.E. equips young people not just for their time with Safe Haven but for thriving independently thereafter. Specialised Model for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children

We are also proud to be rolling out our UASC model which will enable us to support some of the most vulnerable young people across the country through some very difficult times.
