I am the Service Director and Nominated Individual for the Safe Haven Group. I started my journey with Safe Haven Accommodation in February 2022 and have worked within supported accommodation for over 13 years now. Before this, I worked as an Ops Manager in schools across London in deprived areas, delivering direct and indirect work with hard-to-reach children, many of whom were in gangs. I have held various roles in supported accommodation services, including leading on the growth of a previous company, building it brick by brick from day 1 of the business, and helping it become one of the biggest supported accommodation providers in the UK. I hold the QCF level 5 qualification in leadership and management, a Level 3 in Managing Human Performance, and a Level 3 in time management. I am currently undergoing my level 7 in Senior Leadership, equivalent to a master’s degree. I am proud of my professional career, but I have also been committed to my sport for many years, traveling the world doing something that I enjoyed. Although I haven’t competed for many years, my experiences in sport have shaped my life, work ethic, and desire to achieve the highest standards. My greatest achievement in table tennis was becoming a double Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist in Manchester 2002.
